  • Winged straylight-shield/ eyeglassprotector: Excellent stray light shield against side illumination, fast fold down of winged shield
  • For Hyperion Zoom Mark III and older models - fits diam. 43 to 44 mm, 1mm min., clear-cut!
  • Material: high quality silicone - non-aging, no chemical softeners, non smelling, not getting brittle over time

Our winged rubber eyecups are the ideal companion for most 1¼" Eyepieces.  The winged extension completely blocks out extraneous light from the periphery more completely and more comfortably than the typical rigid or foldable 360degree eyecups supplied with even high-end eyepieces.  It is much easier to concentrate on the image and to see faint objects, while imparting a more 'intimate' view, isolated from distracting side-light.  We find these to be outstanding for binoviewing.  The winged extension folds down for more compact storage.
